Spring? Is there something that is happening in the spring? Why do I not know anything?

Oh nothing particular, just my biannual (semi-annual?) Passovertide return to the Beloved City of my Youth, to fulfill family obligations, expose my child to her cultural heritage, and maybe, if I am lucky, see friends, including heretofore semi-anonymous blog friends if their schedules permit.
