An Interlude That Is Not Fiction

Well. I have been getting, as is the norm, excellent guidance and counsel from Diana, Chestnut, and Aragorn aka Stride aka Son of Arathorn aka A Bunch of Other Aliases.

Diana feels I might consider alternating between posting chapters and posting, you know, other stuff. Though I am more separated than ever from the reading habits of my coconspirators. Actually, though, I must say that this arrived for Diana in the mail today, and there was much (if subdued, as befits someone who is 17) rejoicing:

I also found out, in the course of finding that image and link, that there is such a thing as Romeo and Juliet Laser Hair Studio. You are forewarned.

Chestnut, on the other hand, had a go at reading Wolf Hall, but turned aside and is now reading Redshirts by John Scalzi, which she is finding very much to her satisfaction, to the point that she compared him to … Terry Pratchett. Which is…wow.

And I am, as you probably know if you read this blog, am posting a novel online and feeling very, very strange about it.

So there you go. An interlude. How will it affect the other posts? I do not know. Do know that we are still open to people writing in for We Recommend, and offering delightful books to read, and things like that. As for how things will go from here, that does seem unknowable, doesn't it?

  1. I’m enjoying the chapters you’re posting — and looking at the lizards in my backyard a little differently!
